WAR CRIME SUSPECTS

JAPANESE SURRENDER HEADED BY PRINCE NASHIMOTO (Rec. 1.15 a.m.) TOKIO, Dec. 12. A parade of war crime suspects, headed by Prince Nashimoto, surrendered at Sugamo prison to-day—the last day of grace under General MacArthurs arrest order. Nine arrived by 10.30 a.m. (Japanese time), while others of 59 top rankers arrived at five-minute intervals. All carried considerable baggage. Two hours earlier Homma and two other officers were removed from Sugamo for a flight to Manilp to face charges growing out of the infamous Bataan march *and other atrocities.
