LABOUR LEADERS CHARGED V SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES (Rec. 11 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 12. The prosecutor at a court martial at Cadiz demanded death sentences against 5 of 39 members of the National Confederation of Labour, says Reuter’s Madrid correspondent. The Labour representatives are charged with “ subversive activities, conspiracy and incitement to rebellion.” The prosecutor demanded long terms of imprisonment for those not sentenced to death. Judgment will be announced when its has been approved by higher authorities.
