Octagon Theatre.—An extended season of Charlotte Bronte’s " Jane Eyre,” starring Joan Fontaine and Orson Welles. Strand Theatre.—“ West Side Kid,” starring Donald Barry and Dale Evans. The other attraction, “ Hands Across the Border.” stars Roy Rogers. Empire Theatre.—" The Thin Man Goes Home.” a murder mystery not without humour, features William Powell and Myrna Loy. Regent Theatre.—“ The Maltese Falcon,” based on the book by Dashiell Hammett, has Humphi'ey Bogart and Mary Astor in the leading roles. State Theatre.—The inner story of the American Army Air Force is told in “ Winged Victory.” St. James Theatre.—” Days of Glory,” a story of Russian patriots working behind the Nazi lines. The other feature ia “ The Tuttles of Tahiti.”' Grand Theatre.—” Hello, Frisco, Hello,” starring Alice Faye, John Payne, Jack Oakie, and Lynn Bari. The other attraction is “ Confirm or Deny.” Mayfair Theatre.—“ Thousands Cheer,’.’ a Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer production in technicolor, with the supporting feature, “ World'of Plenty.”
