WARNING TO WOMEN

THREATS OF REPRISALS FRATERNISING WITH AMERICANS (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 29. Placards threatening reprisals by former members of the Wehrmacht against German women who fraternise with Americans were found posted in the centre of Munich to-day, says the Associated Press. This is the latest of several instances of underground activity attributed to the remnants of a brigade who are roaming the Bavarian foothills. The authorities believe that cold and hunger will shortly force them to surrender.
