REOCCUPATION OF CHENGHSIEN CHUNGKING, Aug. 30. The Chinese yesterday reoccupied Chenghsien, at the junction of the Peiping-Hankow-Lunghai i-ailways, one of the most important of the Japanese bases. Other Chinese troops entered the suburbs of Ichdng. General Wedemeyer said little trouble was expected from the Communist (roops outside Shanghai.
