OAMARU FLEET IDLE

(Special) OAMARU, June 8. After deciding to operate under protest, the Oamaru fishermen have received what is described as “an unsatisfactory reply ” from the Price Tribunal, and at a meeting this morning it was agreed to cease operations, except for the supplying of hospitals, until a decision covering the whole dispute is reached. The meeting decided that if an investigation of the dispute .were arranged the fishermen would demand that the fleet should be fully represented.
