COMMUNITY SING

In the Strand Theatre at noon to-morrow the Dunedin Community Sing will open its 1945 season. The first sing will be a " Victory Day ” celebration, and a good programme of navy, army, and air force songs will be sung. The Reckitt and Colman Ladies’ Choir, under the conductorship of Miss Bertha Rawlinson, will render popular numbers. The proceeds are for the R.S.A. Building Fund, for which £2OOO is still required. Donations may be sent to Mr J. F. Himburg. c/o Begg’s. Flowers and goods are acceptable for the stall.
