EASTER TOURNAMENT MATCHES The Otago Lawn Tennis Association’s Easter tournament, which was not concluded, because of the loss of one day’s play through rain, was continued at the Logan Park courts on Saturday. Play was, however, soon abandoned, on account of rain. The semi-final stage has been reached in the Mixed Handicap Doubles, the Men’s Handicap Doubles, and the Ladies’ Handicap Doubles. In the Mixed Doubles Championship, G. A. Pearce and Miss M. Kerr met G. H. Fenwick and Miss May in one of the semi-finals, and won the first set 7—5. The score was 5-all in the second set when play was abandoned. The winners will meet R. G. Sincock and Mrs C. J. Rawlinson. The remaining matches will be played during the week. The results of play on Saturday were as follows: Mixed Doubles Championship Semi-final.—R. G. Sincock and Mrs C J. Rawlinson beat F. Lindsay and Miss L. Barrett by default. Men’s Handicap Doubles Semi-final—V. Donnelly and S. Duggan beat W. Bray and A. Scott 9—7. / Ladies’ Handicap Doubles Semi-final.—Miss Warburton and Mrs Borthwick won by default from Misses L. Barrett and J. Ferguson (Southland). ~ Mixed Handicap Doubles

Semi-final—G. Shaw and Miss D. Gosden beat S. Dickens and Mrs Pearce 9—l.
