STALINGRAD HOSPITALS
THREE BEING ERECTED FUNDS COLLECTED IN BRITAIN (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, Mar. 22. Three hospitals are being built at Stalingrad with funds collected in Britain, announced the Russian Red Cross in Moscow. Two, each with 300 beds, were financed from the £750.000 fund raised by a committee headed by the Dean of Canterbury, Dr Hewlett Johnson. The third hospital was financed from the British Trade Union Fund, of which £IOO,OOO has already been raised.
