SOCIAL TO AIRMAN
A large crowd assembled in the Waiannkarua School recently, when a complimentary social was tendered to Aircraftman Arthur Gibson. Mr B?.ird welcomed the guest, and Mr Hutton, on behalf of (he district, made a presentation of a cheque. Other speakers who wished Aircraftman Gibson the best of luck were Mr J. Dungey (R.S.A.) and Mrs Rawcliffe (Red Cross). Items were contributed by Mrs Baird, and dance music was supplied by Mr and Mrs Robertson. Mr L. Caldwell was the M.C.
