LORD ALFRED DOUGLAS

LONDON, Mar. 20. The death Is announced of Lord Alfred Douglas, aged 75 years. Lord Douglas was editor of Academy from 1907 to 1910, and was founder and editor of Plain English and plain Speech. He wrote a number of volumes of poetry, and his "Autobiography ” was translated into French, German, and Spanish. Other works included " Without Apology,” “ The True History of Shakespeare’s Sonnets,” and "Oscar Wilde: A Summing Up.”
