NEW COMMANDER APPOINTED (Rec. 7 p.m.) OTTAWA, Mar. 16. Air Vice Marshal G. O. Johnson has been appointed Commander-in-Chief of the R.C.A.F. overseas, replacing Air Marshal Braedner, who has been retired to the effective list from April 1. Air Vice Marshal Johnson was formerly in charge of the Empire Air Training plan.
