, GREANEY LOSES FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE (PA) BLENHEIM, Oct. 16. Clarrie Rayner (Blenheim), 8.13, won the New Zealand Professional Featherweight Boxing Championship from Lex Greaney (Dunedin), 89, on a technical knock-out in the fifth round of a bout before a packed house on Saturday night. The challenger took charge right from the start. Greaney was outclassed and outfought, and was in a bad way after a series of knockdowns from the second round on.
