LARGE YARDING OF FAT SHEEP (Special) OAMARU, July 4. There was a large yarding of fat sheep at the Waiareka sale to-day, with small yardings of fat cattle, store sheep and pigs. Prices were on a par with those ruling last week. Fat Cattle. —Best steers, £l4 17s Gd to £l6 7s 6d; light, down to £9 10s; best cows, £lO to £ll 10s; light, £6 5s to £7. Store Cattle.—Pen of two and a-half year old Black Polls, £ll ss; pen of one and a-half year old steers, £8 ss; another at £7 15s. Fat Sheep.—Best wethers, 34s to 38s 9d; light, 26s 9d to 28s 6d; best ewes, 24s 3d to. 26s 9d; medium, 19s 9d to 22s 6d; light, 14s to 17s 9d. Store Sheep.—Pen of ewe lambs, 25s 4d; pen of f.m. ewes, 21s 9d. Dairy Cattle—Two good cows, just at profit, £lO each. Pigs.—Slips, 29s 6d to 325; medium, 23s 6d.
