WYLIE’S CROSSING SCHOOL
Arrangements are being completed for the celebration of the golden jubilee of the Wylie’s Crossing School, though progress has been hampered by the fact that all the records were destroyed when the school building was burned down in 1915. Information from ex-pupils that will help in. the compilation cf a record in booklet form, which it is intended to distribute at the celebrations, will be welcomed. The programme for the celebration of the jubilee will be spread over three days—Friday for the children, Saturday for adults, and thanksgiving services on Sunday. An ex-pupil of the North Taieri School, the Rev. R. T. D-dds, assisted by the Rev. M. Numning, will conduct the services. Mr Keiih Williamson, of Wylie’s Crossing, is secretary of the Jubilee Committee.
