HOUSING IN AUSTRALIA
CONSTRUCTION GIVEN PRIORITY (Rec. 7 p.m.) CANBERRA, June 13. State housing authorities will be asked by the Commonwealth to allot up to half of the homes now being built to discharged servicemen or the dependents of servicemen. The target for war-time housing in Australia has been increased from 1250 to 1500 per quarter, and their construction will b'S given the same priority as many defence undertakings.
