GLENORCHY

The Weather.—The weather generally over the past two weeks has been unusually dull. A few hard frosts have been followed by bright, sunny days, but otherwise cold and misty conditions have prevailed. The snow on the tops is very heavy, but it is not yet down to bush level on the Richardson and Humboldt Ranges. „ , Duck Shooting.—A number of local sportsmen were out last Sunday for the final shoot of the season. Conditions were not ideal, and, although most reports indicated that the birds were well on the move and flying high, practically every man secured a limit bag.
