The Ashburton Trotting Club’s meeting will be held on Monday (win-and-place betting), and the following are likely to be among the favourites:— 11.15: Longbeach Handicap.—Sea Gem, Kerrwood Bingen, Zona Grattan. 11.55: Trial Handicap.—Nellie Fraser, Emulous, Gold Peg. 12.35: All-aged Stakes.—Paul Collette, Scott Axworthy, Bronze Eagle. 1.20: Tinwald Handicap.—Smirke, Surprise Potts, Ovend. 2 p.m.: Sapling Stakes.—Admiration, Czardas, Bohemian. 2.45: Mayfield Handicap.—Sea Max, Will Cary, Rangefinder. 3.25: Acton Handicap.—Poker Face. Prince Grattan, Punctual. 4.10: Winter Handicap—Bronze Eagle, Battle Colours, Warfield.
