DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE On the. Dunedin Stock Exchange yesterday buyers of Bank of New South Wales shares offered £36 ss. Bank of New Zeaiands were wanted at £2 4s, with sellers lOd away. There were unsupplied buvers of National Insurances at £1 4s 9d, and of Standards at £3 19s. A buyer of P. and O. Stock offered £2 Is, and Union. Steam Ships (pref.) were wanted st £1 10s 9d. Southland Frozen Meats (ord.) were quoted at £2 4s 6d and £2 6s, buyer and seller respectively. South Otago Freezing shares were sought at £6 ss, and Waitaki Freezing at £6 12s Gd, but there were no sellers. New Zealand Loan and Mercantiles were quoted at £6l and £65. and Guarantee Corporations at 4s and 4s 3d. A buyer of Wright, Stephensons offered £1 4s 6d for both the ordinary and preference jssues, but no sellers quoted. Anthony Horderns could have been sold at £l, but buyers did net quote above IDs Gd. Macduff’s (ord.) were quoted at 15s 3d and 16s Bd, buyer and seller respectively, and Woolworths (Sydney) at 19s 9d. with sellers 3d away. There were buyers of New Zealand Drugs (fully paid) at £4 14s 6d, and Placer Developments were wanted at £3 10s. Yesterday's Sales Dunedin. Sales reported: Anthony Hordern, £1; D.I.C.
