DUNEDIN CRICKET CLUB

MEETING OF JUBILEE COMMITTEE A meeting of the Jubilee Committee of the Dunedin Cricket Club was held on Thursday night. Mr E. S. Wilson presided, and there were present Messrs G. A. Wvcherley, J. A. Robson, G. Simons, J. Young, A. Reid, P. Ritchie, J. Parkson, and J. Wedlake. The Dance Committee reported that arrangements had been made to hold the jubilee dance in the Embassy Salon on Friday, March 17. The Smoke Concert Sub-committee advised that arrangements for the smoke concert to be held in the Rose Pavilion at Carisbrook had been completed. . . , , The sub-committee appointed to deal with the afternoon function at Tonga Park on Saturday, March 18, reported that arrangements were being made to hold two matches between teams of ex-club members, and it was also hoped to arrange for the 'grade teams to play their matches at Tonga Park on that day. An official photographer had been engaged. Permission had been granted to use the Macandrew Intermediate School gymnasium for afternoon tea.

It was reported that arrangements had been completed in connection with the service to be held at the Central Mission on Sunday, March 19.
