DUNEDIN PRESBYTERY
FIRST MEETING OF YEAR A meeting of the Presbytery of Dunedin was held in First Church last night, the Rev. R. T. Dodds, of South Dunedin, being unanimously appointed moderator for the coming year. Presbytery recorded its appreciation of the work of the retiring moderator, the Rev. C. M. Sullivan, who had had a strenuous year of office. The Missions Committee of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand advised that the following changes in home mission personnel had been decided upon: Sawyers' Bay, Mr R, G. S. Simons, in place of Mr Melville; North Taieri, Mr G L. Nummy, in place of Mr Haigh; South Taieri, Mr A. W. Willoughby, in place of Mr Manson: Wakari, Mr M. N Dickey The name of the Rev. J. M. Simpson, of Roslyn, who is now resident in the Wairarapa, was transferred to that presbytery. The Rev. Thomas Miller wrote intimatI l g j2 is^ ec ! si ° l ? to resign from the chaige of St. Stephen’s as from April 30 next Mr Alex Munro was received as a student for the ministry under the care of the Presbytery of Dunedin.
