RAIDS ON BANGKOK
EVACUATION OF CITY URGED (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 1. The Bangkok radio urged the population to evacuate the city immediately. “Thailand no longer has a capital, and many members of the Government have gone to places of safety. The enemy will not cease to raid Bangkok; on the contrary, the raids are likely to become heavier and more frequent,” the announcement said.
