SERVICES’ RUGBY

NEW ZEALAND AND WELSH GUARDS DRAW (N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent) LONDON, Nov. 15. Playing with only 14 men throughout the second half, the New Zealand Services Rugby team drew with the Welsh Guards. 3 all. It was a hard game. The Guards led by a try at the interval, when Dustin had to retire. He unluckily received a blow in his left eye from an opponent’s elbow during a line-out. It is hoped that his injury will not affect his playing for English Services next Saturday. N. Laurence equalised with a penalty early in the second half. The team was —Backs —E. Best, E. W. McLachlan, P. Veitch, G. Brown. E. Grant, N. Laurence, J. Boswell; forwards—J. Phelps, R. Stuart, H. Starrock, P. S. Herkt, E. W. Crist, L. A. A. Kilgour, J. W. Gordon, I. H. Dustin.
