VATICAN CITY

PARTIAL EVACUATION FAMILIES OF OFFICIALS (Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 14. The families of Vatican officials, under the Pope’s express wish, must leave Vatican City and take up residence in Rome, says the Paris radio. Many mothers and sisters of prelates have already left. The Scandinavian Telegraph Bureau states that the evacuation of Vatican City was ordered to avoid panic similar to that which broke out during the bombing on November 5. The Pope has placed his summer residence at Castel Gandolfo at the disposal of some officials’ families.
