DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE Business was more active on the Dunedin Stock Exchange yesterday afternoon, and a number of sales were reported. Buying and selling quotations for Bank of New South Wales were £33 15s and £34 respectively, and ‘for Standard Insurance at £3 13s 3d and £3 14s. There were buyers of Burns, Philp at £2 17s 6d, of New Zealand Refrigerating (paid) at £1 ss, of the contributing issue at 11s lOd, and of Waitaki Freezing at £6 ss, but no sellers came forward. National Mortgage, A issue, were quoted at £2 16s (buyer), and £2 17s (seller), and £1 13s was offered for the B issue. New Zealand Breweries were asked for at £1 16s, with sellers Is away, and Mosgiel Woollens were wanted at £ll 15s. Dominion Fertiliser shares were quoted £1 5s (buyer) £1 6s (seller).
