FIGHTING IN PARIS

LONDON, Aug. 7.
The French National Committee at Algiers announced that hand-to-hand fighting between French patriots and German troops occurred in Paris. The German commander cancelled army leave and established machine-gun posts at main street intersections. Widespread riots followed attacks in the day time against German military personnel.
