CAVERSHAM BOWLING CLUB
• There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Caversharh Bowling Club. Mr J. T. Hammond, who presided, referred to the death of four; members, Messrs T. Critchfield, R. McConnell, G. Carndo, and E. Vincent. ■ ‘ The . following office-bearers were elected:—Patron, the Minister of Defence, Mr F. Jones; president, -Mr ;W. H- Sanders; vice-president, Mr G. J. Sutherland; secretary and treasurer, Mr L. "J. Jenkins; assistant., secretary, Mr E. •, G. James; green supervisor,, Mr ,G. Will; committee— Messrs A. F. Marett, F. Wilkinson, T. R. Crossan, E. G. 1 James; D. H. Scott; centre delegates—Messrs J. Forster (executive), T. R. Crossan and R. Hanning; selector, Mr T, R. Crossan; Club Ties Committee— Messrs Q. Will, C. F. Barham and F; Sykes; auditor, Mr C. F. Barham: captain, Mr T. R. Crossan. :■
