LIBERATION OF FRANCE

RADIO MESSAGE TO PEOPLE (Rec. 0.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 13. Algiers radio says that a broadcast from the French underground station appealed to all Frenchmen to go out into the streets at 7.45 p.m. to-morrow. The broadcast declared that “ this will be the last July 14 under oppression.” July 14 is the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille. The Madrid correspondent of tne Daily Mail says the landings in Sicily have led to a wave of enthusiasm throughout France. This has been shown in many places by the display of the Tricolour ostensibly in preparation for to-morrow. “V ” signs are seen everywhere.
