FORESTERS

At the meeting of Court Pride of the Leith recently C.R. Bro. H. A. Sandom presided over a large attendance. Two new members were admitted, and a welcome was extended to Bro.. S. H. Anderson on his return from active service overseas. A Scotch night was held after the meeting, at which Highland pipe selections were played by Piper Mr John McVean, who also supplied the music for the Highland dancing. Irt addition, songs were sung by Mrs Davidson, Miss V. Littlewood, Master Brian Parke, Mr Harry Mark, Miss Jessie McVean, and Mr John Andrews; Miss Gwendoline Bush danced the hornpipe and the Highland fling, and sean truibhas were given by Miss Noelene Bush. Misses Daphne Baxter, P. Reid, P. Tobin, and Isobel Grey danced the reel o’ Tulloch and a Highland reel. Miss Muriel Caddie’s junior piano-accordion band played selections, and recitations were given by Miss Sanderson. Miss Stewart and Miss McDonald were the accompanists.
