MR JONES IN ENGLAND (N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent) (ROC. 9 p.m.) LONDON. May 29. The placid cloisters of King’s College. There are none at the college at prssent. Mr Jones dined with the staff and students. At Ely Hospital he met sick and wounded New Zealanders. At the Fleet Air Arm training unit he talked with several New Zealand pilots and also met Paymaster-commander I T . T. P. Cooper, the former naval secretary in New Zealand.' At Plymouth Lady Astor took him to many service clubs used by New Zealanders. Mr Jones next me rning addressed ratings in Devonport dock yards and saw realistic training in a gunnery school, where the men work under war conditions, sheets of water being thrown- over them and shells fired as they work the guns.
