The picture is based on Hitchcock’s own story, and depicts the desperate efforts of fifth columnists to wreck “ Uncle Sam’s ” big drive for victory. A feature of the film is a cross-country chase in which Cummings, portraying ■ a Glendale (California) aircraft factory worker, falsely accused of sabotage, sets out to track down the real saboteur in order to clear his own name—a man-hunt that is brought to a climax in New York Harbour. The plot,is fast-moving, covering as it does a time elapse of only five days as its characters are sped across 13 States. The latest March of Time, presenting “ The Fighting French,” is also being shown. The editors of the March of Time throw new light on what is happening inside France. This issue takes pic,ture-goers behind the scenes to tell the story of the Frenchmen who never surrendered—the underground army and the Fighting French forces of General de Gaulle.
