SOUND MILITARY REASONS (Rec. 1 a.m.) CANBERRA, May 28. “ I refuse to allow Major-general Mackay to be the scapegoat in, any controversy about what is called the ‘Brisbane line,’” declared Mr Curtin. “To provide for the .defence of Australia is the responsibility .of the Government.
