JUNGLE WARFARE

AUSTRALIANS IN TRAINING (N.Z.P.A. Special Aust. Correspondent) (Rec. 11.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 28. A.I.F. soldiers back from North Africa are undergoing intensive training to fit them for jungle warfare against the Japanese. The Australian mainland sites at which they train are replicas of a New Guinea jungle scene. All the hazards which beset the Allied forces in Papua are encountered. Training is given by night as well as by day.
