RATIONS STABILISED AT CURRENT LEVEL (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 28. The availability of the tea and sugar coupons for June was. announced today as follows: Tea coupons, 29 to 32 inclusive with a value of 2oz each; sugar coupons, 29 to 32 inclusive, with a value of 12oz each. “The June ration for both tea and sugar therefore remains the same as in May,” said the Rationing Controller, Mr J. E. Thomas. “It has also been decided to stabilise the ration rate for both tea and. sugar for the currency of the present ration book, June to Oc-j tober inclusive. This means that ration rates of Boz of tea and 31b. of sugar per month to each jration book holder will be maintained until the end of October provided there are no unforeseen changes in the supply or stock position. • / : “ Should circumstances at. any time necessitate an alteration to the abovementioned ration scales,” Mr Thomas added, “ due notice will be given through the press to enable, retailers to make such adjustment as may be required.” .
