NEW ZEALAND UfclON The result of the election for the Newi Zealand Rugby Football ’ Union Council' has been announced as follows: President, Mr D. M. Spedding (Otago); vice-presi-dents, Messrs A. A. Baker (Auckland) and E. V. Phillips (Canterbury); council —North Island members, Messrs A. St. C. Belcher (Waikato), G. A. Maddison (Hawke’s Bay), and . F. E. Sutherland (Auckland), South Island members, Messrs A. A. .Adams (West Coast), E. V. Phillips (Canterbury), and.W. A. H. Oliver land); Executive Committee—Messrs S. S. Dean, A. C. Kitto, A. McDonald, C. L. Mullany, J. Prendeville, J. H. Parker, and J. G. Roache.
TO-DAY’S MATCHES
The chief attraction at Carisbrook today will be the match between O.M.R. add University Combined Faculties A, which will commence at 3 p.m. The curtain-raiser at 1.30 will be provided by the Pirates and High School Third Grade teams." At the Caledonian Ground at 2.30 Dunedin will meet University Medical, the early match being between two promising Fourth' Grade teams, Dunedin and Christian Brothers. Admission to the Caledonian Ground will be by the Anderson's Bay road gate. Kaikorai and Zingari will meet at Bishopscourt at 2.30.
