GRAND THEATRE

“ Pack Up Your Troubles," which is showing at the Grand Theatre, is a hilarious comedy featuring vivacious Jane Withers and the inimitable Ritz Brothers. Jane is a gay little mademoiselle who befriends the Ritz Brothers, a trio of vaudeville actors who enlist and find thenway to France on a transport as attendants to a herd of army mules. They find things too difficult, however, and so they write a letter to the general telling him the army ,s run on wrong lines. The result is a most surprising ending. Jane gives two delightful impersonations of George M. Cohan singing “ I’m A Yankee Doodle Dandy," and Eva Tanquay, singing "I Don’t Care!" She also sings “ Who’ll Buy My Flowers.” The other feature is “ I’ve Got a Horse,” in which Sandy Powell is seen in an entertaining role. Box plans are at the theatre and Begg’s.
