WAIKOUAITI

On Anzac Day at Waikouaiti a parade of returned soldiers and Home Guardsmen, led by Piper Macpherson, marched to the memorial, where a short service was held and wreaths were placed. The Rev. N. E. Benham was chairman at the service, which was held in the Public Hall, and the Rev. J. 'E. Stewart gave the address. The Mayor (Mr Andrew Fell) and Mr L. G. Goodley also took part.
