URGENT APPEAL

LINEN FOR HOSPITAL USE An urgent appeal for old linen for hospital use in the Middle East has been received by the New Zealand Red Cross Society from Major W. G. Tweedy, and the North Otago Centre and sub-centres have been requested to assist in filling the 20 cases that are urgently required. Donations of old linen for this purpose will, therefore, be gratefully received at ’the Red Cross wool rooms in Messrs Wright, Stephenson’s building, Thames street.
