FUEL FROM SAWDUST

PRODUCER-GAS EQUIPMENT (Rec. 0.45 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 15. Sawdust motor fuel is the latest development in producer-gas equipment which will shortly be available. Twopsnnyworth of sawdust will drive a lorry 20 miles and a 12 horse-power car 50 miles. A cigarette end will light the sawdust, but the engine mist run on petrol for a few minutes to create a gas-producing draught in the gas plant.
