CITY POLICE COURT

Stated by Detective Sergeant Gibson to be known around the local military camps as “ the blonde bomber,” a young woman appeared before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., in the City Police Court yesterday on a charge of being an idle and disorderly person in that she had no lawful visible means of support. The accused, Sergeant Gibson stated, had been leading an immoral life, and, although two positions had been obtained for her, she had tailed to report. Her father had admitted that he had no control over her, and considered that she should be under some supervision. The case was adjourned for 12 months, conditional on the accused remaining in the Salvation Army Home in the meantime.
