SHAKESPEARE READING

The Shakespeare Club will present a reading of " Julius Caesar ” in the Concert Chamber to-night. The play, which is a product of the great poet’s more mature years, is a masterpiece in dramatic effect and subtlety, and it also suggests the splendours of ancient Rome. Cassius, Brutus. Ccesar, and Marc Antony, whose oration conveys Intense reality, are all excellently portrayed. Miss J. McLay will be the soloist.
