FINAL COMMUNITY SING
A pleasing programme has been arranged for the final community sing, to be held in the Town Hall on November 16. The organisers of the sing have set as their aim the, sum of £l5O for the Prisoners of War Weekly Parcels Fund. Miss Freda Elmss will sing a bracket of numbers, and a Maori party-under Kuini Parata will present items. The community singing will be under the leadership, of Mr H. P. Desmoulins, assisted by Mr J. F. Himburg, Mr A. Pettitt will be at the piano. Donations may be sent to Mr Himburg, care of Begg’s.
