DUNEDIN LADIES’ BAND

The first concert of the season was given in the Botanic Gardens yesterday by the Dunedin Ladies' Brass Band, under the conduclorship of Mr Kilmer Davie. The well-varied programme was enjoyed by a large audience, and the novelty drumming in particular received a hearty ovation. Miss Muriel Caddie and her pianoaccordion band assisted the band with several numbers. Mr Julian Lee was the pianist. The audience showed its appreciation in no small manner, the sum of £32 being collected during the afternoon.
