NAVAL COMMISSIONS
TWO DUNEDIN MEN NAMED (Rec. 10.30 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 7., The following have been _ granted temporary commissions in the R.N.Z.N.V.R.: Sub-lieutenant H. E. Creasev (Nelson), A. V. Kempthorne (Dunedin). R. T. C. D. Lambert (Wellington), P. W. Wilson (Hastings), S. F. Mercer (Napier), and F. V. Reid. A. G. Crimson (Auckland) has been promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Temporary commissions in the Fleet Air Arm have been announced as follows; Sub-lieutenants —W. S. Donnelly (Levin), A, Green and R. W. Murray (Gisborne), M. L. Heath (Nelson), R, M. Manssen (Wanganui), F. A. Howell (Wellington), A. S. MacLeod (Taranaki), E, N. S. Bisselt (Dunedin), A. C. Master (Stratford), F. G. Reid (Auckland, G. T. S. McLauchlin (Christchurch), P. T. Gifford (Hastings), E. C. King (New Plymouth), J. B. Godwin (Blenheim), R. E. Cocklin (Invercargill), R. Beaumont, K. J. Halligan, I, M. Fraser, A. B. Christie, N. Brynildsen, J. P. Chrisp, J. E. Adams, and R. J. Wilson. W, E. Eastman (New Plymouth) has been granted the rank of midshipman.
