WORK ON SATURDAYS
MINERS SEEK A CONCESSION (P.A.) WESTPORT, Nov. 7. At a meeting of the Denniston Miners’ Union this week the members decided to work on the remaining Saturdays between now and Christmas, the’ offer being accompanied by a request to the Government that permits be granted to the miners to enable them to travel anywhere during the Christmas holiday period.
