MEXICO CITY, Sept. 6.

Mexico's first motorised division has been completed with the arrival of a large number of American jeeps. Officials said the Mexican Army now had the most modern mechanised equipment being produced in the United States, including trucks, scout cars, 105 and 75-millimetre guns, anti-tank guns, and the latest type of machine guns The Mexican Air Force is also being reinforced to patrol the coasts and nearby waters.

Eventually the Mexican Army is to consist of 250,000 fully-equipped men, and this is expected to be achieved by the end of 1943.
