DAILY INTERCESSION
O Thou that hearest prayer, unto Thee shall all flesh come. Iniquities prevail against me; as for our transgressions, Thou shalt purge them away, O Thou who art too pure of eyes to look upon iniquity, Thou before whom the very cherubim veil their faces as they cry in antiphonal song, Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God of Sabbath, how shall we who are but the frail children of sinful men approach Thee? Though Thou art the sinless Thou delightest not in the death of a sinner, but wouldst that he would turn to Thee to find forgiveness and life. Thou hast in. Jesus Christ provided a new and living way for us to come to Thee. In Him therefore we make our prayer cleanse Thou our hearts from waywardness, our souls from guile, and grant that our contrite hearts may know the joy of sin forgiven and that our lives may become a daily expression of our rapturous gratitude. Amen.
