RAIN DEVELOPING Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for.Otago, for the ensuing 24' hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Moderate to fresh northerly winds; weather fair to cloudy at first, but rain developing. in the west and gradually becoming general; moderate temperatures. Further Outlook.—Unsettled, with a change to south-west winds. Weather in Dunedin.—The weather in Dunedin yesterday was fine, with bright sunshine. - Temperatures were mild, the maximum recorded being 52 degrees. A light south-westerly breeze was blowing. The barometer remained steady, the midnight reading being 30.36 inches (1028 millibars). , , , The following are the meteorological observations taken yesterday at the Daily Times Office:— 8 a.m. Noon. 6 p.m. M nt.
