WOMEN BOWLERS

On Saturday, in the Kaikorai bowling pavilion, the ladies' section held a card evening, at which the prizes won during the year were presented by the president of the Ladies' Centre, Mrs J. B. McConnell, as follows:—Club champion (Helen Philip Memorial Cup), Mrs H. Lincoln; runner-up, Mrs W. D. Wilson; pairs (silver buttons given by Mrs T. G. Anderson), Mrs J. G. Jackson and Mrs S. Smith; handicap singles (shield given yearly by Air T. Tiley), Mrs J. G. Jackson. At the conclusion of the evening Mrs Anderson oresident of the ladies' section, presented the secretary (Mrs H. C. Frame) with a gift in appreciation of her services during the year.
