EMPLOYMENT PRACTICE 'Rec. 7 p.m.) WASHINGTON. Apl. 12. President Roosevelt’s committee for supervising fair employment practice ordered 10 leading companies to cease discrimination against workers because of race or religion. Officials explained that the companies refused to employ Jews and negroes, and added that companies refusing to comply would be fined and would also have their Government contracts suspended.
